It was built at the beginning of the 20th century on a piece of land bequeathed by Captain François Mazon for the children of Biarritz. This public garden, which had suffered greatly from the many more or less controlled uses, was completely renovated in 2003, respecting the intention of the donor. The Mazon Park was renovated while retaining its original appearance. However, the walkways were rebuilt to be fully accessible to the handicapped, people with reduced mobility and strollers.
