Place Jeanne d'Arc, formerly Place du Marché and Place Royale, is the historic heart of the city. It distributes the main streets and presents an exceptional continuity and spatial unity
There are two homogeneous built fronts, one linear, the other curved: mansions and mansions of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, of comparable height, in ashlar with predominantly horizontal lines.
