The Pardaillan washhouse is, with that of Bonnefont, the only one still visible on the territory of the commune
The inhabitants of the area, mainly those of Pardaillan, came to wash their clothes at the washhouse. Its use lasted until the 20th century, running water only appearing in Latresne in the 1950s
The Laundromat was an eminently social place in each village. It was the place where women met once a week or more and where they exchanged all the latest news of the village, and even of the region.
