The Gallo-Roman Museum of Uxellodunum, labelled as a Museum of France, is a municipal museum located in the heart of Martel in the Palais de la Raymondie. It contains a permanent collection from excavations carried out in the Lot Dordogne region, ranging from the Upper Paleolithic to the Gallo-Roman period: carved flints, arrowheads, etc
There are in particular objects that bear witness to the last battle fought by Caesar in 51 BC, at Uxellodunum, as well as numerous objects evoking the history of Martel: seals of the town, medicine jars... The Museum can be opened on reservation for groups of 10 people or more outside the opening periods. Videos, maps...
