The Armand Viré museum, recently located in the same building as the media library and the Ichnospace museum (dinosaur footprints), presents the local history of Luzech and its region. Its collections are divided into two main areas: paleontology with numerous ammonite fossils dating from the Upper Jurassic, and archaeology with objects discovered during successive excavations on the hill of the Impernal which dominates the town of Luzech. The museum also presents a new permanent space, a small conference room which is used for the Rencontres d'Armand Viré several times a year, and as a reception area for classes and groups.
