At the end of the 17th century, the college-seminary of Le Puy was one of the main monuments of Figeac. Today, the apartments of the superior reveal their rich decor of carved woodwork and painted canvases. Religious compositions, landscapes or pastoral scenes bear witness to the inspiration of the artists of the 17th and 18th centuries.
The Figeac History Museum embodies the memory of the town, but also bears witness to the faraway journeys made by its donors. Partly laid out in the spirit of a cabinet of curiosities, you will discover works by the painter Pierre Daura, gifts from President Georges Pompidou, prehistoric tools, firearms and portraits.
