SOURCE DE CHAUDE-FONTAINE

Source with a low flow rate, but high temperature of 21°. Its waters have the same properties as those of Plombières, but are not exploited. Circuit passing up to the peat bog of La Charme then the stream of Reherrey.
Access: Go in front of the church of Vecoux and leave the car on the car park. Pass in front of the church, drive 100m and turn right towards Reherrey. At the first crossroads (yellow triangle), take the direction of the Thermal Spring. The road rises through meadows and then into the forest. It offers excellent views over the hamlet of Reherrey and the perfectly designed Col de Xiard. Through a picturesque path, you will reach the wild cirque where the spring gushes with a temperature of 21° all year round (the waters have a composition similar to those of Plombières-les-Bains). Then take a path along the stream of Chaudefontaine (yellow triangle) to the hamlet of Reherrey. The return (red triangle) is by a pleasant shady path, before reaching the first houses of Vecoux and then the church.
