This house has retained all the attributes of the 19th century Lorraine farmhouse, with the three "bays" characteristic of the type of farmer's house: the dwelling, the stable, the barn.
Numerous elements recorded in a remarkable document of 210 handwritten pages, the TERRIER, written during the reorganization of the land of Rouhling in 1708, confirm that the house was inhabited before the end of the 17th century.
In the former hayloft, where a wall of display cases is installed, a panoply of particular and unusual objects are presented, as well as models of very old buildings, including the Gallo-Roman Villa, ?
The presentation of the tools of the various local trades of yesteryear, brings to understand the way of using them, but also to discover their name.
