A Mecca of Renaissance and Classicism, the Site Historique de Cons-la-Grandville is a treasure trove of Lorraine's architectural heritage. The castle, priory complex, blast furnace, park and former gardens form a major monumental and plant complex in the heart of the Greater Region, bearing witness to a family continuity spanning more than nine centuries. The main courtyard of the château, the monastic courtyard and terraced gardens of the priory, and above all the romantic 19th-century park adorned with rare species, are still visible today. It is a haven of peace set in a loop of the river.
Visits for individuals on the occasion of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins, Sunday June 2, 3 pm to 6 pm, and the European Heritage Days, Sunday September 22, 3 pm to 6 pm (free admission) - Groups by appointment (prices on quotation).
