This French military cemetery, created in 1919, is located north of Saint-Mihiel. It contains the graves of 3417 French soldiers. Apart from two graves of soldiers from the Second World War, these are soldiers who died during the fighting in the Saint-Mihiel salient during the First World War. At the top of the necropolis is a replica of Ligier Richier's "La Pâmoison de la Vierge".
