Overlooking the small village of Ormersviller, the chapel of Saint-Joseph awaits you. At the place called "Auf der Burg", a tourist area and a car park have been specially set up for those who would like to discover this sanctuary.
This chapel is said to have been built between 1893 and 1895 on a disused quarry. People used to come here on pilgrimage from the surrounding villages in supplication, intercession or thanksgiving for the smooth running of pregnancies and childbirths.
The history of the chapel is closely linked to that of the column surmounted by the statue of Saint Joseph, Patron Saint and protector of families.
