CHAPELLE DE HECKENRANSBACH

Description

The chapel, a former fortified church, is classified as a historical monument. The tower adjacent to the place of worship was built in the 13th century. It once allowed the population to take refuge when the invaders came. The chapel houses a wooden statue of the Virgin and Child (13th century) as well as a wooden effigy of Saint Anne (18th century) which are admired by many visitors and art lovers.
