Construction spread out from the 15th century (tower) to the 20th century (last work: raising of the tower by 4 meters in 1927-28), constantly enlarged and embellished. Almost all the elements of the choir are listed or classified as historical monuments (woodwork, side altars, communion grill, gilded wooden altar, 18th century confessionals. Inside, the 15th century statue "La Vierge du Mai" (The Virgin of May), 1.84m high, is listed as a Historic Monument and is one of the three most important Virgins of the Vosges. Symbol of the parish, this Virgin and Child will return to the church in 1956.
