On the Place de la Gare, a "master hand", symbol of fraternity, openness, a sign of welcome, reaches out to walkers and tourists. It is the work of Jean Cardot, winner of the Prix de Rome, sculptor of the famous bust of Winston Churchill that adorns the Champs Elysées. Bronze hand, it turns on itself thanks to the action of water and thus appears to the passer-by under all angles. This originality is unique in the world. The square is one of the points of the historical circuit of the city. This tour can be picked up for free at the Tourist Office.
