This chapel was built by the inhabitants of the commune of Flin in 1924, in gratitude to Notre-Dame de Mervaville for having spared the village during the 1914-1918 war (Notre-Dame de Mervaville was a Priory, founded in 1150 in the eponymous hamlet, which disappeared during the Thirty Years War)
The Chapel of Our Lady of Mervaville was enlarged in 1938, to be integrated into the Augustin Schoeffler Missionary School, which was created to welcome students from the 6th to the 4th grade, with the aim of making them missionaries...
The restored building now regularly hosts concerts.
