Parc du cours

This 28-hectare English-style park, with its lanes lined mainly with lime trees, is a haven of peace in the heart of the city. Magnificent trees include cedars, Douglas firs, araucaria, purple beeches and chestnuts. Some 25 baskets and flowerbeds are covered with mosaiculture in summer. Admire the 1863 bandstand and 1892 weather station.
Parc du Cours gets a facelift! Work on this 4-hectare green lung in the heart of Épinal has made considerable progress: most of the paths have been redesigned, perennial flowerbeds are taking shape, the 3x3 basketball court has already been adopted by the players, and the new inclusive play area and "dry fountain" have seen the light of day: this large, flat basin embellished with water jets will bring freshness, water games and poetry to the entrance on the Place Foch side, near the prefecture.
