The Musée de la Vénerie will be closed for renovation from September 22, 2025 to mid-June 2026.
Located in the heart of the grounds of the Château Royal de Senlis, in the logis du prieuré Saint-Maurice built in the 18th century, the Musée de la Vénerie evokes the cultural and artistic dimension of hunting with hounds, a tradition deeply rooted in the region. The house is decorated with numerous trophies of this custom. Paintings, engravings, photographs, objets d'art and accessories used in the practice of hunting with hounds complete the building and testify, through a recent museography, to the importance of hunting in history.
