Parc et Jardin du Château de Barberey Saint-Sulpice

This formal garden, created in front of the château, is based on the division into four squares shown on a 17th-century plan. Here, every detail has been thought out and executed with precision. Even the gravel is the same color as the Louis XIII facade of brick and stone.

Admirably and patiently restored since 1964, in 1999 it was awarded the prestigious "public utility" label by the Comité des Parcs et Jardins de France.

Open for Rendez-vous aux Jardins, Journées du Patrimoine de Pays and Journées Européennes du Patrimoine. Visits on June 1, 2 and 3 . September 15 and 16 and every day from August 1 to September 15, daily from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Visits outside this period for groups on written request. Visit of exteriors only. Adults: €3.
