Attested in the first half of the 11th century, the fief of Juzanvigny fell under Rosnay; by the Marisy he passed in the 16th to the Molé, great Trojan families. In the forest to the west of the village you can see the ditches of the old castle, called Haut Guet. The inhabitants are called vadragons, vadragonnes.
