Built in the 17th century by François Mansart, the church and convent of Val-de-Grâce are historic jewels donated by Queen Anne of Austria for the birth of Louis XIV. Since the Revolution, the convent has become a military hospital. The church houses sculptures and paintings by Philippe de Champaigne, while a museum in the cloister traces the history of the military health service through its artistic and medical missions. A must-see for history and architecture buffs.
