De kerk en het klooster van Val-de-Grâce werden in de 17e eeuw gebouwd door François Mansart en zijn historische juwelen die door koningin Anne van Oostenrijk werden geschonken voor de geboorte van Lodewijk XIV. Sinds de Revolutie is het klooster een militair hospitaal. De kerk herbergt beeldhouwwerken en schilderijen van Philippe de Champaigne, terwijl een museum in de kloostergang de geschiedenis van de militaire gezondheidsdienst vertelt aan de hand van zijn artistieke en medische missies. Een must voor liefhebbers van geschiedenis en architectuur.
