Paraclet Abbey is located in Ferreux-Quincey and the memory of Héloïse and Abelard continues to haunt these places! The 12th century buildings have disappeared, giving way to an abbey dwelling from the 17th century, a monks' cellar from the 16th and 17th centuries and a chapel from the end of the 19th century. The site is private and can be visited exclusively during the summer period (from July 17 to August 31, 2024), every day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (30-minute visits, last visits at 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.). CLOSED ON SUNDAY INFORMATION: • The tours are guided • Visit to the site of the tomb of Abelard and Héloïse in the Abbey park, and the Cellier des Monks. • The buildings cannot be visited, except the 12/13th century vaulted kitchen (ISMH) and the 17th century staircase (ISMH) of the abbey dwelling • Dogs must be kept on a leash • Cars must be parked outside
