The ancient abbey of Berteaucourt-les-Dames was founded in 1095 by two ladies sent by the abbot of Saint-Martin de Pontoise, it is a jewel by its exterior and interior architecture of Romanesque style, raised to about thirty meters. This building is classified as a remarkable historical monument in 1840.
