The central beach of Lacanau Ocean is located directly in the city center, close to many shops and restaurants, and easily accessible by bike
This beach is emblematic of the surfing culture in New Aquitaine! Indeed, every year in August, it hosts a sporting event: the Caraïbos Lacanau Pro, which is one of the oldest stages of a world-renowned surfing championship!
Beware, at high tide, the beach is reduced! This phenomenon is the marker of the effects of erosion. You can therefore head for the north and south beaches which offer more space.
50 meters from the first aid station on the central beach, the Mickey's Journal beach club can accommodate your children
Animals are not allowed on the beach during the summer, please refer to the rules posted at the entrance of the beach.
