Saint-Avit-de-Vialard is a peaceful village in the Périgord Noir, situated in the centre of a triangle of the towns of Périgueux, Bergerac and Sarlat. It is built on a hill at an altitude of 220 metres.
The commune is made up of forest with beautiful shady paths and has a beautiful village with Romanesque church dating from the 12th century. Prehistoric traces are still visible at the place called "Les Fieux".
Saint-Avit-de-Vialard also has a 5 star tourist complex "Saint Avit loisirs".
