Description

The still-visible choir of this church is the last vestige of the Benedictine abbey founded in the 7th century at Val et Chatillon and moved to Saint Sauveur in 1010. It belonged to the Croix monastique des Vosges. Beautiful bas-relief of the Adoration of the Magi (late 15th c.). 14th c. Virgin and Child statue. Armorial keystones. Magnificent knight's recumbent in the Musée Lorrain in Nancy.
The Church of Saint-Sauveur is open to the public at all times (access is limited by a gate), so you can admire the choir. Individual or group tours are available every weekend on request. Commentary lasts from 20 minutes to 1h30, depending on demand, and you must give the association at least 30 minutes' notice by calling 06 71 47 02 92.
