This Romanesque church was built in the 12th century, on the site of an early Christian building which is perhaps the oldest Christian sanctuary in the area. The church of Saint Hilaire de la Combe, classified as a Historic Monument in 1970, was entirely restored from 2015 to 2017 and has magnificent painted decorations from different periods from the 12th to the 18th centuries. The contemporary stained glass windows are by Mrs Michiyo Durt-Morimoto, master glassmaker in Japan. The church is fitted out as an exhibition place and managed by the Association of the Friends of Curemonte, it is open to the public with free access during the artistic exhibitions of paintings and sculptures that it hosts. Possibility to visit during the group visits proposed by the Association of the Friends of Curemonte at no extra charge (06 80 40 98 63)
