The Aldudes valley, surrounded by ridges reaching 1000m in altitude, tells its pastoral history through its farms populating the mountain. Several loops are possible: the simplest one starts from the village of Esnazu, in the south of the Aldudes (2 km). Then a discovery trail leaves from the Oteiza shop at the exit of the Aldudes. The other two, Lepeder and Hargibel, leave from the centre of the Aldudes (4 and 9 km). There are many birds of prey: griffon vultures, red kites, peregrine falcons, circaetes... And many others in post-breeding migration, which enter the valley to take the Lindus redoubt. The moors are frequented by passerines: darters, warblers, and the wooded valleys are home to the Iberian warbler. Along the river, one will meet the small brook wagtail and the dipper. The bravest will access the ridges to look for the mounds.
