Col du Wettstein, along the side of the Slucht, actually begins at the Col de Slucht after about 4 kilometers of climbing and a few kilometers past Soultzeren.
The Col is barely 5 km long from this turnoff with an elevation difference of 292 meters to overcome. Still good for an average of just under 6%.
Very pleasant climb on quiet roads with alternating expansive views and passages through the woods.
