The arrondissement of Saint-Girons is an arrondissement of France in the Ariège department in the Occitanie region. It has 121 communes. Its population is 40,557 , and its area is 2,019.3 km2 .The arrondissement of Saint-Girons was created in 1800. At the January 2017 reorganization of the arrondissements of Ariège, it gained 13 communes from the arrondissement of Foix and 27 communes from the arrondissement of Pamiers.
