This covered wash house with 2-sloped roof and 2 slate hips and floor made of large boulders was restored in 1990 during the Year of the Fountains.
Inside are 2 consecutive troughs . The rear trough runs parallel to the street, while the front trough is perpendicular to the street. The rear bowl is the sink , because it is close to the source . The tub at the front was used for soaping . It is made of concrete with inward sloping edges on which the soap shelves remain.
Outside, against the north wall, is a cast-iron fountain with an image of a lion's head with a snake coming out of it. The water flowing into a rectangular tank is used to feed the inner tanks.
On the inside there is a drawing with the portrait of Jean Lambert and below the portrait is the following inscription: “In recognition of Jean Lambert, known as Jean Gus, the main architect of the restoration” (second restoration in 2003).
