In the Jardin de Chevreuse there is a bust of Loujis Mony by Alfred Boucher.
Originally, a bronze allegory of Truth stood beneath the bust. The bust and the allegory of “Truth” were melted down under the Vichy regime in application of the law (October 1941) on the recovery of non-ferrous metals.
Post-war period: only the bust was replaced. This new bust from 1957 (or 1967) is the work of sculptor Pierre Jamin.
