The Dunkirk Museum 1940 Operation Dynamo is located in the casemates of Bastion 32 , the headquarters of the French and Allied forces during the Battle of Dunkirk and Operation Dynamo.
The Memorial tells the incredible story of this battle and the evacuation of over 340,000 Allied soldiers from the “Dunkirk Pocket” . The tour covers 350 linear metres and displays maps of military operations and photographs. There is also a rich collection of weapons, uniforms and models. A 15-minute archive film completes the tour.
