At Christmas time, take the trouble to cross the porch, where a surprise awaits you: a curious and picturesque crib, sculpted by the village clogmaker around 1750, featuring characters from village society dressed in the fashion of the time. It's a masterpiece of folk art, listed as a historical monument.
Each figure represented one of the villagers, who, after the Christmas festivities, had to pamper and look after his double in preparation for the next Nativity celebration. They can be seen in the Vicq-sur-Breuilh church.
