The purpose of this orchard is to preserve the old varieties, to multiply them and to make grafts and grafted subjects available. It also has an educational purpose for school children and tourists. It must arouse the desire to maintain and plant fruit trees.
According to the demand, training days can be organized by the members of the association La Costelle and each person willing to invest can join the group and participate in the maintenance of the orchard.
