Gite Le Chemin vers l'Etoile

Run by a former (and historic) pilgrim who walked the Chemin du Puy à Saint-Jacques de Compostelle in 2007, this refuge welcomes pilgrims (GR65) and hikers (GR10) to the heart of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, in a spirit of sharing and encounters.
Housed in a late 16th-century residence (1580), the gîte is arranged over 3 levels. Dormitories for 12, 10 and 8 people. 2 boxes of 4 places, and 3 boxes of 2 places. On the first floor, a room for 4 is adapted for 3 people with reduced mobility. Bicycles accepted. Communal kitchen area (cooking facilities). 1/2 board for groups of 10 or more. The gîte is located in the heart of the old town, close to shops and entertainment. Numerous hikes and activities nearby. Pilgrim restaurants in the village.
