30 ans du vélo-rail - Gare vélo-rail de Médréac

On September 21 and 22, the velo-rail celebrates its 30th anniversary! To celebrate this anniversary, the Médréac velo-rail station is offering a program of events on the theme of the 90s. The station will be open all weekend, providing an opportunity to (re)discover it during the Heritage Days.
The station is open on Saturday from 10.30am to 8.30pm and on Sunday from 10.30am to 6.30pm.

. Relive the history of the vélo-rail in Médréac through an exhibition of photos from its conception to the present day. The Association pour la sauvegarde et la mise en valeur du patrimoine médréacien, creator of the vélo-rail in Médréac, will be on hand on Saturday morning. Also on display will be an inspired reproduction of the very first velo-rail in history, invented by
invented by Lucien Péraire in 1929. Free admission. Free access all weekend.

. Drawing competition: "Imagine your bicycle-rail in 30 years? The team at the Gare vélo-rail invites you to draw THE bike-rail of the future. Drawings can now be submitted to the Velo-rail station, and prizes will be awarded to the most inventive. Prizes will be awarded on Sunday at 5:30pm.

. Take part in laser games on the Gare site! Outdoor and/or indoor games lasting 5 or 30 minutes. With FUN?N SPORT. From 2 to 10? per game. Reservations required.

. Photo competition ? Clichés 90? with boitaclic. Visitors can take photos of themselves in disguise, using 90s accessories available on site. Prizes will be awarded for the most original photos! Free admission. Free access all weekend.

. Special "Back to the Future" bike-rail routes will be available on the tracks. On the short or long route, you'll have to keep your eyes open to solve the riddles! For young and old alike. From ?24 to ?34 per vélo-rail, depending on the route chosen (usual prices). Reservations required.

. Full speed ahead? visitors ride their velo-rail to beat speed records! At 1:30pm. Free admission. Prizes for the fastest riders.

. The Bigdil" game. the "Bigdil" game: by taking up zany challenges, teams will plunge into the friendly atmosphere of the famous 90s TV game show. The prize is a hot-air balloon flight (offered by Montgolfière
Experience). At 5pm (Saturday only). 25? per team of 5 people maximum. Registration required.

. Saturday will be extended by an aperitif / concert at the Café de la Gare. With the group "Emma et les garçons" and their covers of 90s songs, the atmosphere will be guaranteed from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Saturday evening only. Free concert. Games on site.

The Café de la Gare will also be open non-stop, offering drinks and sweet snacks all weekend long:
. Saturday lunchtime: "Mi Casita" food truck. Mexican specialities.
. Saturday evening: appetizers and drinks for sale at the café de la Gare.
. Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime: La vida locale? food truck. Burgers.
