The AFSM regroups the 11 most important soap factories of our departments of Bouches du Rhône, Alpes de Haute-Provence and Var, which are home to the trades of soap makers whose origins are very old
For more than 100 years our machines, our gestures and our know-how have remained unchanged, in order to offer to the whole world a soap of high quality and great fame. It is obtained by mixing oil and soda
It is then ground with granite rollers to give finesse and softness to our products. A mixer allows to integrate the ingredients entering the composition of the soap (honey, essences, perfumes, lavender grains).
The product obtained is poured into a plodder to obtain "soap bars"
The soaps are then manually stamped, molded and labeled.
Visits are possible for the public every day at 11am, 3pm and 4pm (except on Sundays and holidays).
