DOMAINE NORDIQUE DES TRUCHES

10 km from Gérardmer and 7 km from Vagney, when the natural snow cover allows it, the mini-station of Les Truches offers the possibility to practice Nordic skiing on a 3 km discovery trail (shelter available). A marked trail (5, 10 or 15 km) joins up to the Grosse Pierre pass. Opening depending on snow conditions.
Volunteers from an association are in charge of tracing and maintaining the trails.
Free access and free of charge.
Please note: when there is not enough snow on this site, it is sometimes possible to use the Nordic slopes of Les Charmes (on the heights of Rochesson), groomed by the ski club Vagney Rochesson. Access is free and is via the Col de Menufosse on the Basse sur le Rupt side.
