In the mid-1970s, the original idea of a foundation regrouping the artists of Aquitaine was born.
From this idea was born the Museum of Contemporary Art of Soulac; Between purchase and donations, our museum today is rich in 265 works of all kinds.
Landscape architects of the 19th century (Augui, Cabié, Lépine ...) to the abstracts of the 20th (Gau, Calgani ...), it is especially the great period of independent Bordeaux who is present in our walls ...
Jacob Belaubre, Edmond Boissenet, Pierre Molinier (among others) or the sculptor Gilbert Privat will invade our exhibition spaces for this 2017 season!
