The cooperative was created on September, 1956 by 22 grapes growers which represent 18 ha on the different villages Colombé-le-Sec, Colombé-la-Fosse and Saulcy with a single press.
With the progression of the place, the structure was enlarged and the first bottles were marketed in 1972.
Today, Charles Clement represent 60 grape growers for a surface of 120 ha.
At 71 kms from Troyes, 8 kms from Bar-sur-Aube and 8 kms from Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises, Colombé-le-Sec has 150 inhabitants and covers 878 ha.
Charles Clement welcomes you from Monday to Saturday 9h-12h am/2h-6h pm to make you discover its cellar and its champagne.
