All aboard! The small tourist train takes you to Plassac by following the Gironde: the opportunity to obtain a better knowledge of the estuarys characteristics as well as the history of this former village and its Gallo-Roman villas. You are then taken through the vineyards of "Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux" where different "appellations" (wine names) are evoked. To finish you wil be told about the history of the old streets of Blaye which wind up to the citadel. Once in the fortress the small train will reveal anecdotes and describe local architecture. An opportunity not to be missed in discovering the region.
