Capital of the Lorraine hoof at the beginning of the 20th century, the small picturesque village of Soucht still perpetuates its tradition
Its museum is an invitation to plunge into our past. As you pass through the door, the smell of spruce will lead you to the heart of the clog maker's workshop, where you will be shown all the techniques of artisanal and mechanical manufacture of the "shoes" of our ancestors. More than 260 types of clogs are on display.
For those who wish, the visit of the museum can be done with clogs on the feet (free loan during the visit).
