The efforts of the Sainte-Alvère town council to promote "the good" and "the beautiful" have finally paid off.
On the terroir side, the truffle market has acquired its letters of nobility, and the village's strawberry and foie gras producers and coffee roasters regularly offer quality products.
As for the living environment, beyond the efforts made to maintain essential local services, the care taken with the overall aesthetics of the village is indisputable.
In this cosmopolitan village, home to many French and foreign artists, a new small art gallery has opened on Place du Château.
