Patrice's themed walks are designed to help you discover the heritage of the Ardennes: its forests and the strength of its untamed nature, encounters with the characters and legends that have shaped the Ardennes, and its generous, authentic gastronomy. A walk in the Mosan valley: rediscover the charm of the small Mosan villages, situated in the meanders of the Meuse, where you'll meet the last water ferryman of the Ardennes. Visit a traditional brewery. More information here Heritage and gastronomy: This day-long hike will take you to discover archaeological sites dating back to the 3rd century, a collegiate church which, according to legend, houses the remains of Pepin the Short, and the Mosan Renaissance castle of Hierges, said to have been at the origin of the war between Charles V and Francis I. For lunch, we'll share a typical Ardennes dish: cacasse à cul nu. More information here Rimbaldian walk: Rimbaud was born in Charleville-Mézières, but his adolescence was marked by his many runaways, particularly in the Meuse valley. Patrice will accompany you in the footsteps of this great French poet, who left his mark on several generations.
