The "La Conserverie" cultural center owes its name to the fact that it stands on the site of the first tinned food factory, founded in 1892 by Léonce Blanc. This company would later become : SAS Valade: jam manufacturer.
The center houses a number of different areas:
- the entrance hall with a reception/ticketing, relaxation and exhibition area,
- an auditorium with retractable bleachers (154 seats in tiers, 206 seats with chairs and 500 standing places), with the possibility of film screenings with Cinéplus Limousin and Familles Rurales.
- 2 dressing rooms.
The cultural center offers a varied program of cultural events throughout the year (concerts, theater, exhibitions, etc.).
