Château de Reignac

Behind a wrought iron gate, Château Exupéry has a proud classical façade escorted by two high turrets. But the castle lives with the times and inside, the princely aspect gives way to a personal and delicate decoration. In large, light-filled rooms with terracotta tiles, the chateau has combined the hieratic allure of a large country residence with the patina of an adventurer's cabinet: period woodwork and family paintings are combined with refined prints and large wooden trunks; a billiard table with golden arabesques meets an Asian sofa in sculpted wood.
