Jandun is located in the centre of the Pre-Ardennes ridges. The village is surrounded by low wooded hills, cultivated land and numerous pastures. The woods are abundant, the fauna and flora rich. The village lies precisely in a vat between two hills. One road leads to Poix-Terron, another to Launois-sur-Vence and the last one joins Charleville-Mézières. The village is 66 km from Reims and 19 km from Charleville-Mézières. The church Notre-Dame de Jandun of the XIIth and XIIIth centuries, has frescoes of the XIXth, a baroque altar, some sculpted capitals. The interior is decorated with stained-glass windows and statues, and on the main floor of the church there is a carved cross, classified as a historical monument in 1963.
