Built between 1615 and 1624, Saint-Juvin is a veritable little fortress: high, thick walls, narrow windows, corner towers? Claude de Joyeuse (Count of Grandpré), the parish priest Didier Mauclerc and the people of Saint-Juvin were all involved in its construction. The church is open daily from April to October, and only at weekends from November to March. Guided tours are available by appointment.
