To the south-east of Niort and the Marais Poitevin, Celles-sur-Belle is a charming village with a fine architectural heritage and a beautiful landscape marked by the river "La Belle" which invites you to go for long walks. Since 2013, the town has been awarded the label "Ville en poésie" (City of poetry) in recognition of its efforts to put poetry at the heart of local cultural life. The Poetic Walk allows you to combine a walk and a reading of a poem through a heritage trail in the village.
